Hello there!

As a kid, I would hack my games. I had Googled (or Yahooed?) how to change things, and some nice Internet strangers on a forum said to find some text burried within a file that was nested within folders in the application; then, I was to open the file with Notepad++ and change a few lines. I thought to myself, "Notepad++? Who uses that?! I'll open it up in Word." Well, I realized that didn't work, so I opened it in Notepad++. I saved the changes and I was off to play happily.

Little did I know, I had started building on my research skills. And while I may not know everything, I know I'm resourceful and I can figure things out.

I've come a long way from only having Notepad++ in my toolkit. So to give you more details into the tech I use, I'll drop some jargon here:

  • As a developer, I use HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, JavaScript, Node.js, Express, React, RESTful APIs, GitHub, and more!
  • As a designer, I use Sketch, Figma, user research, user testing, rapid prototyping, journeys, blueprints, and more!
  • As a manager, I use Agile methodologies, servant leadership philosophy, Asana, Trello, and (of course) more!
